Your Tasks:

• Responsibility for software engineering tasks in the R&D team

• Design, conception, implementation and test of software and hardware solutions for complex medical devices

• Independent creation and revision of circuit diagrams

• Preparation and maintaining technical documentation according to valid specifications

• Maintaining existing software products

• Organization of the successful transfer of software and hardware products into production

• Participation in the risk management process for the assessment of product-related risks

•  Assumption of sub-project responsibility

• Support service team to address customer requests

• Execution of special tasks and projects as directed by supervisor

Your Profile:  

• Completed studies in natural sciences or engineering (FH or university), preferably electrical engineering, medical engineering or automation technology

• At least five years of professional experience in R&D in medical industry

• Technical expertise in the development of medical devices including practical knowledge of relevant standards like IEC 60601-1

• Practical knowledge of programming in accordance with EN 61131, prefers PLCs from B&R

• Knowledge of CAD software like Solid Edge, SolidWorks or similar is an advantage as well as OPC UA

• Strategic and analytical thinking as well as operational implementation skills

• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts

• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and team orientation

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in German and English
