BEBIG Medical is taking significant steps to expand its presence in India, underlining the company’s strong commitments to make advanced radiation therapy solutions more accessible and support the country’s growing demand for high-quality cancer care.
From September 2nd to 5th, Mr. George Chan, Chairman & CEO of BEBIG Medical paid his second visit to India this year.
During the trip, Mr. Chan has met various government officials including Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavishis from Maharashtra, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy, Member of Parliament from Nellore, Andhra as well as the member of the Finance Committee of the Central government and a member of PSU, as well as Mr. Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister from State of Telangana and their corresponding delegations*. Mr. Sujeet Kumar, GM of BEBIG Medical India and Mr. Srinivas Mallay, CEO of Danja Healthcare accompanied Mr. Chan along the trip.
In abovementioned visits, all parties have discussed openly on the possible investment strategy and initiatives in India in order to make BEBIG Medical’s vision affordable healthcare for everyone to be a common goal for all parties. These strategies and initiatives focus on expanding market access to more radiotherapy centers, how to deliver better clinical outcomes at lower cost, establishing clinical training and service centers and provide more local supplies etc.
Earlier of this month on Sep 1st, the Health Minister of Andhra Pradesh, His Excellency Sri Satya Kumar Yadau, inaugurated the BEBIG Medical SagiNova HDR Brachytherapy system at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam. Established in 1923, King George Hospital is the largest and busiest government hospital in Andhra Pradesh.
